Attachments to your complaint

You can send documents supporting your complaint as attachments to your complaint. If your complaint concerns a decision by a public authority, please attach it or a copy of it to your complaint.

Size of attachments

You can attach a maximum of three attachments to your complaint in the following file formats: .pdf, .doc, .docx, .txt, .odt. If the combined size of the text written on the form and its attachments when sent to the e-mail server exceeds 10 MB, the e-mail server will reject the message sent and it will not be received by the Ombudsman's office. You will receive an e-mail acknowledgement of your message during office hours if you have provided your e-mail address.

Sensitive matters

If the attachments contain sensitive information, they should be sent via the Parliament's secure e-mail address.

Complaints made using the form can also be sent by post.
The attachments will be returned to you at a later date.
